Ecopure Cleaning started trading as a local window cleaning firm in 2006 with the aim to be as eco friendly as possible. We have three units on the road - so we are a small company.

Many of our customers and suppliers found it strange at first when we started out, because lets face it, window cleaning doesn't carry the biggest carbon footprint!

However, we found that it increased our work load. We now have over 900 regular window cleaning customers on the books. Every week we pick up an average of 5 new customers (even in the recession!).

So why and how are we eco friendly?


Lets deal with the 'Why' first...

1/. Simply put: We strongly believe that if everyone tries, everyone can make a difference. We have to be more responsible for our actions.

2/. Customers appreciate that they need to their bit for the enviroment. Being an Eco Friendly Window Cleaner attracts more customers because people realise we aren't just the old boy down the end of the road, who does window cleaning for cash. People realise we are serious about what our business, and that we are serious about being enviromentially responsible.



What about 'HOW'?

There are lots of ways you can be eco friendly.

1/. If you have a website, make sure its carbon neutral. There are plenty of carbon cutting companies out there who will offset your website. I have seen prices from as little as £9 a year.

2/. If you have mobiles, offset them with a carbon company. Its as little as £1.50 a year.

3/. Use Recycled Paper for your invoices / memos / general stationary. Remember you don't have to be a big company to do this. Many Supermarkets sell Recycled paper that you can then print on.

4/. Consider Carbon Offseting your whole business. This could be as little as £150 a year.

5/. Can you purchase a LPG fuelled car / van? Its very eco friendly, you get charged lower road tax, and it will cost less to run.

6/. Can you get a grant to improve the technology you use? We upgraded our system to a reach and wash pure water cleaning system. We use no chemicials, and the customers love it because it does a better job.
